The Nature of Work
Collection
A study of the human factors that enter into a man's relationship to his work. Set within the framework of our mid-twentieth-century complex, the films present different people in different types of employment, and examine the stresses that arise when the demands or limitations of the job come in conflict with the inner compulsions or needs of the human personality. Each film concludes with an analysis of the problem by H.D. Woods, Professor of Industrial Relations and Director of the Industrial Relations Center of McGill University.
