Dr. Peter Jaffe, director of the London (Ontario Family Court Clinic, says "we live in a society that condones violence against women." The Next Step is a series of three films that examines the various services available to battered women in Canada. Interviews with both victims and those who work with battered women demonstrate the extent of the problem, its seriousness, and the kinds of support women need as they rebuild their lives.
