This film describes trends in the field of agronomy, as exemplified in the Eastern Townships of Québec. The Agricultural Cooperative of Granby has aroused interest in other parts of Canada and this film chronicles how it was organized to introduce a new concept in rural economy. We see how some 2400 farmers were brought into remunerative cooperative enterprises, which included a milk processing plant, poultry farming, a flour mill, a farm implement section and a research laboratory.
