Ako, a girl of sixteen, is employed in a bakery where boys and girls are manipulating masses of impressive dough, rambling exchange, laughter. There is no continuity in the dialogue and fragmented images in this film which takes the unusual nature of a dream. Ako is the prototype of the young Japanese trying to live in freedom and escape the traditions of her country.
