A close-up view of the water birds of Canada's east coast--their habits, breeding grounds, peculiarities and distinguishing marks. Included are herring gulls, gannets, eider ducks, great blue herons, black guillemots, razor-billed auks and cormorants. Throughout the film many bird calls are heard.
