Filmed in Bolivia, this two-part documentary travels through a country of violent contrasts, where the natural beauty of the land and its tradition could not mask extreme poverty. Three Oblate missionaries featured in this study tried, despite the vigilance of a wary government, to educate the people both politically and religiously, while respecting their own traditions. Part 1: Race of Bronze is 86:36; Part 2: At the Risk of Their Lives is 79:10).
