An American family discovers the adventurous holiday to be had in Canada's northland. The Watsons of Cincinnati travel by canoe along the old fur-trade route from Lake Superior to Hudson's Bay northern Ontario. Fishing, of course, is an important part of a trip like this. There are also glimpses of wildlife, and tips on making portages and on setting up camp in the bush.
