Celine is a young girl from Quebec who has never ventured outside her quiet suburb. A student exchange program offers her her first real trip... To Mali in Africa! From the moment she arrives in the capital, Bamako, she experiences the disorientation that can arise when two cultures meet. And she will also discover the small and great moments of everyday life in an African city. This film can be used in conjuction with The Invincible, by the same filmmaker.
