Fort Wellington National Historic Park at Prescott, Ontario, encompasses the remains of two forts, both built in the 1800s. They stood guard over the international border, formed by the St. Lawrence River, protecting military and commercial transportation that moved along this waterway. Using archival materials, the film illustrates key historical aspects that occurred in the general region from historic times to the present.
