Forced for three years into a defensive war, the Allies massed for attack. Learning from the guerilla tactics of the Russians and other resistance groups, tough armies were built in Canadian camps and in the Libyan desert to carry the battle onto enemy soil. Commandos, advance guard of the invasion army, are shown in a raid upon the enemy-held coast of Norway.
