Katatjanik utippalianinga (The Return of Throat Singing) and Handcrafted Hopedale are two documentaries both filmed in Northern Labrador. Exploring the concept of changing traditions and reclaiming culture, both films showcase modern-day throat singing, carving and sewing in Nunatsiavut. Both of these films were made through FRAMED, a filmmaking workshop series organized by the St. John's International Women's Film Festival. Produced with the assistance of the NFB's FAP program.
