A tour of fine Canadian golf courses from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. Setting out to hitch-hike across the country, a youngster earns his way by caddying at courses in each province: St. Georges, Toronto; Laval-sur-le-Lac near Montréal; The Links at Green Gables, Prince Edward Island; Capilano, Vancouver; and others. Also included are courses in such national parks as Prince Albert and Banff. Final scenes are of Bing Crosby enjoying a game at Jasper.
