"Something happens to a guy behind the wheel of a car," asserts an irritable truck driver, who goes on to explain why this change is a menace to everybody on the road. Quoting the high traffic-accident figures, he points out that the people responsible for them, though quite polite on foot, turn into reckless speed fiends inside their cars. A breathtaking ride with one such "Driver Hyde" vividly illustrates the threat he offers to other vehicles, especially heavy trucks. "What's it to you?" asks the truck driver, belligerently, and provides the answer himself, "Life and death!"
