THIS FILM IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR DISTRIBUTION. Graham Brathwaite is a violinist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchester, a snob whose life revolves around classical music. When the symphony suddenly collapses, his world is shattered. Soon Graham meets up with a fellow musician in search of a new member for a country and western band, the Harmony Cats. He trades his violin for a bass guitar, and begins an uproarious odyssey through the community halls and small town bars of the British Columbia interior. The band members help Graham to transform his narrow-minded attitudes and to appreciate those around him. Ultimately, his changed outlook leads to a romantic, exciting and hopeful conclusion, played against a humorously improbable background.
