Inspired and motivated by their ancestors’ resilience, stamina and fortitude when crossing great distances in the winter months, six young Cree men from the Whapmagoostui First Nation trekked 1,600 km to Parliament Hill. Walking is Medicine takes us on their remarkable journey as the youth reach Ottawa and connect with others from many Nations who all strive for a better future.
