Produced by the National Film Board of Canada for the Canadian International Development Agency.

An amusing animated film showing how the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) helps developing countries to help themselves. It shows the imaginary country of Bongolia, where the chief product is bongo nuts, and how experts from a country with know-how teach the Bongolians profitable ways of growing and marketing. Soon they are on a solid economic footing which enables them, in turn, to help other struggling countries. That is the philosophy of CIDA's cooperative giving, as propounded in this animated short.
