This title is an acquisition.
An absorbing drama about a family and an aged horse rescued from the coal mine where father and horse had "worked together as prisoners." The sons have grown to love the horse of their father's past; it is a source of security in an uncertain environment. In the family struggle between ideal and reality, the horse becomes the unfortunate pawn. Based on an Alistair MacLeod short story, In the Fall is a timeless tale for all generations -- a story about love, and the mystery of giving up in order to gain.
