Infantry - Pride of the Army

194412 minFilm: Documentary

Produced by the National Film Board of Canada in cooperation with the Canadian Army Film Unit.

This wartime film shows the hard, tough training which makes the infantryman a strong, formidable fighter. The infantry soldier is a specialist, understanding the skilled use of weapons and techniques. The Canadian infantry is shown in action in Normandy--on the beaches, in villages and in the countryside. An army, the commentary states, is no better than its infantrymen.
