The dynamic rhythms of the Javanese dance are explained to Lloyd Bochner by Mrs. Willy Block Hanson, an Indonesian dancer acclaimed in Asian and European capitals. A few of her Toronto pupils go through some of the fundamental body movements and illustrate how dance forms represent movements in life. Mrs. Block Hanson and her sister, Miss C.A. de'Neve, don ornate costumes to perform two traditional Javanese dances.
