Little Big Top gives us a peek at the kind of magic generated by the Royal Brothers' Circus, a tent circus of a type that is fast disappearing. Torrential rains, axles sunk in mud, shaky performances, and a monumental tent that must be put up and pulled down once a day do not inhibit the fifteen trucks and assorted beasts from travelling around at the rate of one town a day.
