A privileged view of the convent life of Les Servantes de Jésus-Marie at Hull, Québec, an order founded in 1894 in the diocese of Ottawa. The focus of the film is on Micheline Robert who, at a time when her friends talked of marriage, turned her back on the world for a life of obedience, chastity and poverty. The film follows her progress until she takes her final vows.
