Children's choirs from all over the world were among the singers heard during the First International Choral Festival in Toronto in 1989. Three of them appear in this close-up look at the process of making choral music: the Tapiola Children's Choir from Finland, the Toronto Children's Choirs, and the Monserrat Boys' Choir from Spain. Behind the scenes, dedicated music teachers coach and cajole the young voices, striving for excellence, even in simple song.
