Margaret's mother has always warned her about the dangers of falling in love with a coal miner and Neil does promise Margaret that he will never go down in the mines. But when the harsh realities of life in the coal mining community of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, force Neil to break his promise and pay with his life, Margaret finds a unique way to honour his memory. Based on the short story Glace Bay Miners' Museum by Sheldon Currie.
