Classics and jazz hold equal fascination for Neil Chotem, a Canadian concert pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. This film affords a brief opportunity to hear him at both. In opening and concluding sequences, on the stage of a concert hall, he plays part of a Chopin scherzo. Then, in an informal broadcasting studio setting, he and his trio--Mark Wilkinson, Jack Costenuck and Ann Somers (vocals)--do syncopated versions of I Got It Bad and How High the Moon.
