Claire is a single woman and a literature professor. Her Chilean friend Pablo, is a political refugee whose visa has expired. He's being tracked by Bouchard, a particularly aggressive Canadian immigration inspector and marriage is his only hope to avoid deportation. Claire's sister Annie who is a lawyer, convinces her to marry him. But Bouchard figures out it's a marriage of convenience and is determined to prove it. As such, Claire and Pablo must live together to deceive the inspector, and little by little, they fall in love. In French, with English sub-titles.
