Sabina is an impressionistic animated film of flowing imagery, exploring sensuality within the feminine imagination. Inspired by Anaïs Nin's poetic writing, Sabina is a symbolic, collective name for women of water; women afloat in their unconscious. Breathing with lush, elemental energy where colours embrace, shapes caress in the soft currents of water and desire, Sabina is a celebration of the senses. Subtly choreographed images dance in a dream state where the surreal rules, laying bare the stage for the subconscious to enact its most fantastic inner monologues. Film without words.
