The Mikkel Haette family leads an unusual life. Every year they spend six months in the subarctic wilderness, travelling from Finmark Plain up to the northern coast of Norway and back again. Their travelling companions are a herd of reindeer. This documentary records their life over a twelve-month period on the road, and in their summer and winter homes.
