A fascinating, informative report of marine agronomy as it is being developed on Canada's Atlantic coast. The film shows the work of the National Research Council's Atlantic Regional Laboratory at Halifax and of Constance MacFarlane, marine botanist of the Nova Scotia Research Foundation. Efforts are directed at developing the food potentials of marine plants such as dulse, Irish moss, rockweed.
