This docudrama recreates the dramatic events surrounding the 1979 blinding of worker Terry Ryan in an industrial accident at Westinghouse's transformer plant in Hamilton, Ontario. His case, championed by Stan Gray, who is now director of the Ontario Workers Health Centre, led to a legal battle entangling labour, management, and government.
