A sampling from the bright array of Canadian musical talent, presenting a few young artists already well on the road to fame. Neil Chotem, concert pianist, composer, arranger and conductor, plays Fuguie Boogie, adapted from Bach. The Commodores, male quartet of radio renown, sing Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho. Andrée Lescot, a Haitian-Canadian, sings a Creole lament. Ann Somers, a young vocalist with the Neil Chotem Trio, sings the popular How High the Moon. Finally, Winnipeg's Gisèle Mackenzie sings an old ballad, Black Is the Colour of My True Love's Hair.
