The film contrasts the struggles of two couples, Canadian Latin Champions, Claude Crevier and Kathy McGraw who are amateurs receiving no government support and German Latin Champions Ralf and Olga Muller who enjoy superstar status in Europe. We watch the couples compete at the World Latin Championships in Kassel, Germany, perhaps to go on to a bid for Olympic Gold.
