Three Depression kids from Regina used to practise hockey with homemade sticks and road apples. In 1955, their team, the Penticton Vees, won the World Hockey Championship Cup in Krefeld, West Germany. This documentary is the story of the Warwick Brothers, their rise from humble beginnings in Canada to their peak in Europe, and their subsequent decline. Interviews with the three brothers and rare footage of the championship game tell a story of hockey and human drama.
