Lloyd Bochner finds out what little dolls are made of as he goes through the large plant of a Toronto doll manufacturer. The chief ingredient, cellulose acetate powder, goes through many transformations before it comes out as dimpled arms and legs and cherubic faces. The factory has its beauty salon too, where cheeks get a permanent blush and hair a permanent curl.
