A drama based on a short story by Ernest Buckler. A young man named Paul moves in with his grandmother, Mary, to help take care of her farm after her husband's death. Mary is going blind and needs an expensive eye operation but she is too proud to accept money from Paul. He manages to find a way to pay for the operation without her knowing it.
