200630 minFilm: Documentary
On Saturday, July 28, 1945, a B-25 Bomber lost in fog, rammed into the 79th floor of what was then the world's tallest building, the Empire State Building. On impact, the fuel tanks exploded, igniting several floors and sending the engine plowing through the building and through the roof of a neighbouring building. A woman inside plunged 75 stories as the building's elevator cables were severed. Miraculously, she survived. In total, 11 people inside the building and 3 in the plane perished as a result of the crash.
