This is the story of a retired Australian businessman with a single-minded mission: to save the beaches of Sydney from the pollution of sewage emptied into the sea. His plan is to persuade the local authorities to reverse the flow away from the sea and pipe it onto farmland where the effluent would fertilize the soil. It is a story of personal struggle against many odds, at many levels.
