The garden residents are delighted to meet a new neighbour, a fun-loving worker bee named Millie. She's grown tired of all the hard work being a busy bee in a very busy hive. Greenthumb and the others convince Millie how important her job is, back at the hive. Why, if all the bees stopped working, there'd be no more flowers! And how much the other bees must miss her. Millie bid a fond farewell to her new friends and returns happily to the hive. Greenthumb's proud when a magazine wants to publish pictures of his beautiful flower bulbs. But he soon discovers the bulbs have disappeared. Headless flower stems everywhere!! Turns out Glory's the culprit. Lucy explains that buds are baby flowers and that without them there would be no more flowers, then no more pollen, then no more seeds to make more buds next year. And pretty soon, there'd be no garden left at all!
