A film that describes a number of successful attempts to obtain energy from renewable sources. Shot in the United States, Israel and Sweden, the film shows how alternative energy sources can be combined with conventional fossil fuels and established energy systems, and how dependency on fossil fuels can be alleviated by adopting unconventional ways to use them. All the different systems discussed have been proven to be commercially, technically and economically successful.
