Van Pooling en route

This film describes and promotes the many advantages of van pooling (car pooling on a larger scale) as a transportation alternative. Apart from being inexpensive and energy efficient, it promotes camaraderie among employees, cuts down on absenteeism, reduces the risk of accidents in bad-weather driving, and gets employees to the work site relaxed and on time. The van can be company owned, or privately owned. The cost of operating it can be met by the company, by the employees themselves, or by an employer-employee cost-sharing agreement. Three companies are chosen to demonstrate these different approaches.
