In 1973, with the signing of an accord, the hostilities in Vietnam ended and the Americans prepared to withdraw. This film is the record of Canada's participation in the International Commission for Control and Supervision, charged with enacting the accord. The film sets Canada's peacekeeping mission within the broad framework of the problems the Vietnamese faced as a result of forty years of war.
