A tribute, on the occasion of its 300th anniversary, to French Canada's first classical college, the Seminary of Québec, founded by the first bishop of Québec, by consent of King Louis XIV of France. The College's long academic history and the challenges it faced and withstood are recalled. The film concludes with an open-air concert by the Québec Symphony Orchestra.
