The difficulty in dialogue when travellers from Ontario, knowing very little French, must ask directions becomes the core of a pleasant little episode. It sees one of the students invited into a French-Canadian farm home for supper and the night, and ends with a stroll with a girl on a moonlit beach where language really doesn't matter.
