The problem of winter employment is often a serious one, but it can be greatly alleviated if home owners arrange to have their home improvements made during winter months when workmen are available. Percy Saltzman is the film's commentator. He is shown a great variety of building materials that can transform a home, and learns about the loans that the National Housing Act makes available for winter building.
