Finding herself out of work, a talented college graduate must apply for unemployment insurance payments, and becomes caught in the maze of government unemployment bureaucracy. Some of the questions raised are: youth unemployment and underemployment; "Needing the experience to get the job/needing the job to get the experience"; the bureaucracy of the unemployment system; and attitudes that can empower or disempower individuals.
