Produced by the National Film Board of Canada for the Canadian Department of Labour in association with the Canadian and provincial Departments of Agriculture.

This film offers suggestions for improving living, training, and working conditions for farm labourers so they will be encouraged to stay on the land. Ways of reorganizing farm work to provide profitable employment during winter months are described, together with methods of changing farm and barn layout to eliminate unnecessary effort. Careful training of farm workers is urged and farmers are advised to encourage their men to take advantage of short courses and field demonstrations.
