Ice Fishing is an interactive sculptural, sound and video installation by multi-disciplinary Newfoundland Mi’kmaq artist Jordan Bennett that re-creates the physical and emotional experience of ice-fishing for an urban audience.

Presented through video and audio, the overarching narrative of the piece is based on Bennett’s personal experiences and family stories, and presents ice fishing as a metaphor for cultural and artistic exploration.

This is the selected 2014 recipient of the Imaginative NFB Digital Partnership, to appear at Imaginative 2014.
