The Pour tout dire series is intended for high school students, ages 12-14 years, in core French (FSL) and French Immersion programs. L'Héritage de Madame Li Pai Sang is a young Chinese Canadian living in Vancouver. Her old aunt has just died and left her her store. However, when Pai Sang comes to Montréal with her grandfather to claim her inheritance, she learns that she has to earn it first. And so begins a thrilling treasure hunt. Le Lapin d'Alice The first clue leads Pai Sang to a herbal remedies shop, where an old lady gives her a copy of Alice in Wonderland and points to the rabbit in the story. Walking around the neighbourhood, Pai Sang runs into Julien, a young street musician who helps her find the rabbit's pocketwatch. However, they are not the only ones searching for the treasure... Cul-de-sac Back at the old aunt's store, Pai Sang and Julien try to discover the meaning of the inscription on the watch. Julien has an idea and they are led by a rabbit-man down an old aqueduct, unaware that two shady characters have followed them into this labyrinth. When they run into a dead end, things look bad for our heroes. (Films in French, useful for teaching French as a Second Language.)
